Getting Started
Getting started is easy with our guided onboarding process. Essentially though, there are two key steps:
1. Let us know which provider numbers you want to link with FreshClaim
2. Complete FreshClaim registration. We will manage the required health fund registrations

Fill out your details on our "Get Started" page , and we’ll be happy to help.
Once they have completed the registration form, our users are generally fully registered and up and running within a few weeks.
Yes - you can capture and queue all of your claims ready for submission prior to provider registration being completed. We will submit them for you as soon as your registration is complete.
Claim Status
FreshClaim integrates directly with Eclipse, and reflects the real time status of all your claims and payments
This varies by health fund, around 50% are paid in less than 2 working days and the vast majority within a week.
You can check your claims easily in either the mobile app at the touch of button, or access more detailed analytics and history in your FreshClaim web dashboard.

Freshclaim has carefully designed the claiming workflow in concert with tight ECLIPSE integration, in order to to maximise accuracy and eliminate any causes of data error. Our claim engine catches errors before submission to ensure the vast majority of claims are successful on first submission, reducing manual errors and reducing the time to generate fully verified claim invoices to the health funds. Cleaner invoices mean prompt claim acceptance and minimum time to fund payment. Yes! The web dashboard is designed to help you manage your billing and reporting, and provides easy to download transaction reports as well as a range of other reports to help you manage your practice.
FreshClaim is committed to patient data security. We use HIPAA-compliant cloud technology and military-grade encryption to safeguard patient data.
Provider Registration
Yes. Freshclaim will send you a copies of a medicare required HW027 form for each provider number you wish to use, and you simply print out the form, fill in the blanks, sign it, then scan and email the form back to us. We do a final proof read, check that all details are correct, and then email it to medicare for you.
There are a number of forms that need to be completed and sent through to the different private health fund networks. Once you have downloaded the app and filled in the registration form, we will compile and submit the forms on your behalf.

Billing
FreshClaim streamlines the billing process by allocating the correct fee schedules and calculating the correct fund reimbursements enabling you to submit your bills on the same day without delay. With No-Gap Billings, fully linked electronic payment channels then expedite the payment process, ensuring quicker payment for your services.
Yes - payment is deposited straight into your nominated bank account, directly from ECLIPSE.
At the end of each month, FreshClaim will send you a summary of your total claims made/claims paid which you can double check against your banking statements.
Don’t worry if they do not match exactly - the discrepancies will be due to the cut-off times applied for monthly summaries differing slightly between the payment status vs the bank. This may mean that a small number of payments will fall either before or after the date ranges.
Customers generally find it easiest to to pay by credit card. Subscription fees are payable monthly in advance and transaction fees in arrears.
Transaction fees are calculated by applying the FreshClaim invoice fee to all the claims that have been settled and paid to you in that month.
